ModelOp and HPE (BlueData) – Accelerating ModelOps

We are really excited to announce that we now support our flagship software solution ModelOp Center (formerly Fastscore) running on BlueData EPIC™ software (now part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise). We’re thrilled to be part of the BlueData / HPE ecosystem and plan to support BlueData in all of our future releases. This integration enables large enterprises to more rapidly convert insights from data scientists into realized value, by slashing the time required to launch and track AI/ML and analytic models in production.

Our BlueData support is important for a few key reasons:

  • BlueData, recently acquired by HPE, provides the leading container-based software platform for enterprise AI/ML and Big Data workloads. Their container-based EPIC software platform has gained considerable attention for its ability to help global organizations rapidly scale and orchestrate their analytic deployments in private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
  •  ModelOp Center, which also leverages containers, helps large enterprises launch and track AI/ML models in production independent of their origin and regardless of the technical and organizational environments in which they are expected to be deployed during their useful lifetime.
  • As a result of the integration, ModelOp Center will be made available as a container image in the BlueData EPIC App Store – providing customers with self-service capabilities to provision ModelOp Center services seamlessly in any environment whether on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid cloud deployments.

Support for the BlueData platform was driven by customer demand and it was easy and straightforward – thanks to the complementary architectures, the enterprise focus of our two platforms, and the great team at BlueData.  Both ModelOp (formerly Open Data Group) and BlueData recognize the value of using containers to drive greater agility and efficiency in enterprise deployments of AI/ML and analytics.

According to Nanda Vijaydev, lead data scientist and distinguished technologist at BlueData (now HPE), “Our enterprise customers are looking for solutions that can help accelerate all aspects of their machine learning operations, from creating models to deploying them in production. ModelOp is a great complement to the BlueData platform, and we’re pleased to add their ModelOp Center solution to our AI/ML partner ecosystem.”
